The Garden Club of America Has a Scholarship for You
According to a recent press release, you could be the recipient of a college scholarship from The Garden Club of America! Both environmental and horticulture-related scholarships are given to both undergraduate and graduate students based on merit. With the deadlines quickly approaching (January and February 2019), it’s time to start sprucing up your application.
There are 28 scholarships to be given out, with over $300,000 available in funds. If you’re looking for assistance with your studies in botany, coastal wetland studies, conservation, desert studies, ecology, garden history & design, horticulture, international study, landscape architecture, native bird habitat, native plant studies, pollinator research, public horticulture, or urban forestry, this application is for you! But you must be a citizen of the United States or a permanent resident enrolled in a US institution.
